Effective date: 2026.

The Law Offices of Solov & Teitell, APC ("Solov & Teitell," "we," "us," "our") is a California professional law corporation. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information submitted to us through this website, by telephone, by email, by SMS, or in person.

1. Information we collect

When you submit a contact form, request a consultation, send an email, or call our office, we may collect:

  • Your name, telephone number, and email address
  • Information you provide about your potential legal matter (injury type, employer, accident date, brief description)
  • Communication metadata (date and time of contact, the page you submitted the form from, your general IP-derived location)
  • SMS opt-in status and message-frequency preferences

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether we can represent you
  • To communicate with you about your matter — including by SMS where you have provided consent
  • To send you appointment confirmations, intake instructions, and case-status updates
  • To comply with our legal and ethical obligations as California-licensed attorneys

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with marketing partners. We do not allow third-party advertisers to use your information for retargeting.

3. SMS / text messaging

If you provide consent on a Solov & Teitell form (checkbox or other affirmative action), you agree to receive text messages from us at the phone number you provided, for conversational purposes related to your inquiry, consultation, or case. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP to (213) 380-9310 for assistance. Message frequency varies; standard message and data rates apply. We will not share your phone number or SMS opt-in status with any third party except as required to deliver the messages (e.g., our SMS provider).

4. Attorney-client communications

Submitting a contact form or other inquiry through this website does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship between you and Solov & Teitell. An attorney-client relationship is formed only after we have conducted a conflict check, signed a written engagement agreement, and accepted your case in writing. Until then, please do not send confidential information you do not want shared.

5. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our website is served over HTTPS. Our contact forms transmit data to our servers using encryption in transit. Personal information is stored in access-controlled systems and is accessible only to firm attorneys and staff who need it to evaluate or work on your matter.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) gives you certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to know what categories of personal information we have collected about you
  • The right to request deletion of personal information we hold about you (subject to legal-record-retention obligations applicable to law firms)
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights
